Ever wonder why vendors try to twist IT problems to their gain? Having spent the last few hours going through the vendor gauntlet it is no surprise that the amount of spin around compliance is growing due to the growth of the compliance requirement crush. It amazes me that every vendor has a silver bullet and here in lies the issue. THEY DON'T EXIST, that is the silver bullet. The fact and reality is that IT professionals must carefully piece together a strategy and a solid continuous foundation to manage the complexities of Compliance and I would suggest you start with what you already have before looking for that Silver bullet...

    I do agree, but speaking from experience, IT in general are always the bad guys and can never do anything right in the eyes of the customers so it is very rewarding when you can find a vendor out there that has a 1 in a 1000000 silver bullet application that users just like so much and you receive recordnision for, before IT becomes the bad guys again.
